Drama Production Classes
10-18 years (range of class levels)
Classes held MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS
The Drama Production classes are a full year course and include the full-scale end of year production. Classes are levelled by experience and age, and student's will be placed in the appropriate class to their level.
Classes explore theatre through improvisation, devising, physical theatre, mime, theatre games, theatre styles, performance techniques and confidence building - all in a safe supportive environment. The first half of the year is spent learning performance skills and techniques. The second half of the year course focuses on the production.
This commitment to being in Drama Production classes includes two weekends of rehearsals and shows in November. These are compulsory for the year's course.
The dates for 2026 are:
Friday 20 Nov, Saturday 21 Nov & Sunday 22 Nov (compulsory class rehearsals)
Friday 27th Nov, Saturday 28th Nov & Sunday 29th Nov (Tech/dress run and 4 shows)
Enrolment for the full year starts from Term 1 onwards. Some spaces may become available in Term 2, so do send an email to enquire. From Term 3 onwards these classes are not open up for new enrolments in the Drama production classes as students are in the midst of working towards the end of year production. At that stage I invite you to join one of the others classes available, enrol for next years class lists, and come along and watch the end of year production!
