MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE CLASS
8-13 years
A fun and lively class, this class works on popular songs, choreography, and scenes from well-loved Musicals. Musical Theatre dance combines acting and dancing together.
The class takes students through dance warm ups, floor work and strength routines, and then works on song/choreography/scene from well-known and loved Musicals.
Each term will focus on a different Musical and choreography. Musical Theatre Dance develops students' dramatic role-playing skills and character performance through musical theatre, jazz and Broadway dance styles.
This class builds performance confidence and is great for budding actors who want more movement experience.
These classes are not part of the end of year production, however they do work on performances to perform to whanau during the course.
